LATAM Expansion Readiness Checklist
Tactical checkpoints for market entry before headcount and CAC start drifting upward.
Expansion fails when teams confuse interest signals with operational readiness. This checklist is meant to pressure-test whether a market can support repeatable acquisition, localized support, and acceptable payback before hiring ramps up.
Work through distribution assumptions first: which channels already show qualified demand, which parts of the funnel require local adaptation, and what regulatory or payment constraints could break conversion after launch.
Only then should the team commit to country-specific headcount. If the market still depends on founder-led selling, ad hoc onboarding, or fragile vendor relationships, the expansion case is not mature enough yet.
